Stavros The most famous beach of Akrotiri, lies at the northern edge of the peninsula, is a sandy lagoon, with cyan-green waters and exotic beauty, in which scenes from the movie Zorbas the Greek with the famous syrtaki by Antony Quinn, made the beach famous all over the world. Western to the central beach, at about 200mts another smaller beach with fat sand appears, vulnerable to north winds. Almyriki restaurant is the right choice for tasting heavenly traditional cuisine.
Seitan Limani (Stefanou) In between steep rocks, stones and bushes emerges the enchanting small paradise beach of 25mts with crystal emerald waters will reward the guest for the tiring ride along the sharp stone path. You find it at the Hordaki village, 5km away from Chania Airport.
Loutraki Moving towards south-east, the beach is known to the natives as well as to foreigners for having thin sand and safe light blue waters protected from the winds and together with some canteens around makes it the ideal family beach.
Marathi Another popular beach, large and organised with sand and swallow waters, perfect for families makes the stay a pleasant and relaxing at the restaurants and bars of the beach.
