How does the Creta Villas website work?

CreteVillas4U presents holiday villas for vacation rental in the magnificent island of Crete, Greece. The adverts on this site use material provided by individual villa owners and you should be able to find all the details about your stay on the advert. If not, feel free to send us an email with your questions.

How do I find out more information about the area?

Most adverts have a description of the local area, but if you have further questions feel free to email us.

I have questions before booking. What should I do?

You can contact us through the appropriate contact form available on the website or by using this email: info@cretevillas4u.com. Also you can give us a call at the phone number displayed. We will try to answer to any queries or questions you have about our properties.

How do I make a booking?

A deposit of 15% to 30% is requested in order to secure the booking. There are 3 possible ways to confirm the booking, online & offline.

For Visa: Once you choose to pay with credit card, you will be redirected to "Alfa Bank" secure website to complete the transaction. The credit cards accepted are: Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express & Diners

For PayPal: Once you will be redirecting to PayPal to process your payment, you will then need to pay 15% to 30% of the total amount of the booking as a deposit to confirm your reservation.

For Offline: Once we have received your booking inquiry, we will email you the rental agreement right away with all the details for confirming the booking and making the deposit payment by bank transfer.

In all scenarios the rest of the money you can either pay 2 to 4 weeks before your arrival day or upon arrival at the villa cash only. Some villas do accept Credit Cards but cheques are not accepted.

Will the villa owner accept a debit card for the final payment?

Most of the villa owners don’t accept credit card payments but some of them do accept payment through PAYPAL.

Will I need to take travel adaptor plugs?

Yes, the villas will be fitted with local plug sockets so you will need to provide your own adaptors for any electrical items you take with you.

Can I negotiate the price?

Normally no, but in some cases, and depending on the season, owners do make special offers such us last minute bookings, long stays or smaller group offers.

How do I get a refund if I cancel?

If you paid and then cancelled you must refer to the cancellation policy that is stated in the rental agreement.

Can I add more guests that the ones stated in the beginning of the booking?

Most of the times you can add more guests free of charge, but in some cases you might need to make an extra payment. You must always notify us for the total amount of guests above the number of persons stated in the rental agreement.

What if I have complaints about my stay?

Your complaints only make us better. You are most welcome to communicate any complaints regarding your stay either directly to the owner (you will be given contact information) or to us.

Can I edit my review?

No, it is not possible to change a review once it has gone online. If you want to make any changes, contact CreteVillas4U. You must explain the reasons why you want the review to be removed and then you can resubmit a new one.
