Archaeolab - Archaeology for Kids in Crete

The activities concern a simulation of an excavation of a Minoan house, where young archaeologists, using sieves and shovels, will follow the scientific process phases like soring out and classification. In addition to the excavation simulation, they will cook like the Minoans and make their own mosaic. Including an 8-hour summer camp (8.00am-4pm) with various activities like pottery workshop, the labs provide clear evidence and information on the characteristics of the Minoans and the Minoan society lifestyle.
