Zouridi Traditional Villa in Rethymno Crete

I had a wonderful 26 days with friends and family coming and going. It was just what I had hoped it would be. Whatever minor issue occurred, they were handled quickly and in a friendly manner. It was a great place to stay in our vacation. Comfortable and pleasant, and met all our expectations. I recomand it very much for a family vacation/

Poolen var beskidt. Vandet var grumset og fliserne slimede. Vi fik en søforklaring om at det handlede om vandleverancerne. Der var desuden også kun en lillebitte opvasker selvom stedet er stort (vi var 13 mennesker afsted). Selve huset er sådan set dejligt, men udeområderne ligner ikke rigtig billederne som må være adskillige pr gamle.

Die Villa war wirklich überragend! Ich kann nichts finden an dem ich meckern könnte. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen!

This is a stunning property overlooking wonderful scenery. Everything is very clean well looked after and there is lots of space for a large group to enjoy. The outside area, including the pool, is great and the location gives you options to explore beautiful beaches on both the north and south of the island. We were a family of 14 including 3 young children and it worked perfectly for us!

Tilat olivat riittävät isolle porukalle sekä allasalue oikein mukava. Ruuanlaitto tuotti haasteita, sillä välineistö ei ollut paras mahdollinen. Auto pitää ehdottomasti olla, että pääsee kauppoihin sekä rannalle.

Ett mycket trevligt boende med karaktär i lantlig miljö. Fint hus, stor pool med barndel, lekplats för barnen, pingisbord etc. Perfekt boende om ni är flera familjer som vill dela på ett stort hus med flera separata delar. Vi var 8 vuxna och 6 barn. Trevlig husägare som var mycket hjälpsam och mån om att vi hade det bra. Rent och fint. Ca 20 min till stranden. Kan varmt rekommendera boendet.

Giannis, the owner is awesome. We want to all his recommendations of beaches , cities and taverns. All of them were lovely. The villa is perfect. 100% top.

Objekt wie auf den Bildern zu sehen, Giannis ist ein sehr kompetenter und freundlicher Gastgeber. Auf all unsere Wünsche ist er eingegangen, ob Handtücher für den Strand, ärztliche Betreuung etc. Der Weg nach Zouridi ist etwas abenteuerlich, dafür hat man Entspannung und Ruhe mit einer schönen Aussicht auf die Berge in der Umgebung. Zouridi Villa Park is a lovely setting - beautiful stone lodgings surrounded by views of the hills. We loved the spacious pool and bar/BBQ area. The owners Giannis and Espina live on site (Zouridi Villa Park is a former guest house) so were always on hand if you needed anything or wanted some guidance on local activities. Die Villa ist schön restauriert und die Räume sehr gut aufgeteilt, um mit mehreren Paaren/Familien Urlaub zu machen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr bemüht den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.Lediglich die Außenanlagen könnten etwas liebevoller angelegt sein

The house is absolutely amazing. Perfect place for a family group vacations. Hosts are very nice, very helpfull. It's a quiet place, a base from where you can make small tours around the island (Episkopi beach and Rethimno- must see). Small "but" - it's a little too hot in some rooms in a lower part of the building during the night (we were visiting in July). The AC is not sufficiant enough there.

Our big family of 5 children aged 1 - 18, four parents and grandma spent 2 weeks in Zouridi. Nothing could have been better. The house including all outdoor areas is really large to fit a big group day and night and the pool is great! A beautiful villa with a lovely host. The villa consists of several apartments which was perfect for our group. The views from the villa are amazing!

The villa is placed about 20 minutes from the nearest beach, with fanastic view over the landscape. Good place to live if you want to do daily trips to both the south and north coast. The villa has a big nice pool, bbq area and bar outside. Walking distance to a nice traverna and a few km to nearest mini market. I would warmly recommend the villa to anyone!

We, the whole group (10) were very happy with the accommodation. It is a little out but this one should already note in his book. Must try the great tradionelle Cretan breakfast. We had an amazing time with some very hospitable hosts. They were very kind and gave us a lot of ideas of where to go on the Island. Quite a way out from the beach but as long as you have a hire car: you're fine! A great experience of Crete. (Posted on HouseTrip)

The house is top, very clean and friendly. Children (and adults) loved the pool and the sun beds ... Very quiet with all the amenities. The sea is very close (20 min drive). The climate and especially Cretan hospitality is exceptional! We will keep very good memories owners Yannis and his wife. Very caring people with a big heart. Vacations ... again!
